The Deaf Nordic Cultural Festival will be held in Iceland from August 5-9, 2026. The festival, titled “Culture, Education, and Nature,” will take place in Selfoss, a beautiful town 45 minutes’ drive from the capital city, Reykjavik.

The aim of the festival is to promote Deaf culture through educational lectures, pop-up markets, and a variety of events from all over the Nordic countries, social gatherings, and a programme for children.
There will also be day trips sound South Iceland and shorter hikes in the area, focusing on nature.
